  1. It's a good game that could have been great if there weren't so many problems and the stunts were a little easier to pull off. Overall the game is fun, but very frustrating at times, especially when it locks up the GameCube.
  2. There are more flaws in JMSW than there are good gameplay mechanics. Although the odds were against it, JMSW turned out to be an above-average game.
  3. The same mediocre game on the Cube as it was on the PS2.
  4. Nintendo Power
The play control is unpredictable at best. [May 2002, p.131]
  5. The reasonably well-designed tracks are sold short by a ludicrously slow response to trick commands.
  6. Only diehard supercross racing fans will be able to eke out any enjoyment at all in this inept GameCube title. Steer clear.
  7. 38
Sloppy controls, floaty physics, and serious camera issues. There are times when your bike actually dips out of sight from the camera.
  8. It shall garner the first ever Eric Mattei Smelly Bowling Shoe award for achieving a new standard in caca quality.
  9. This time around were presented with the same flat panel crowds, barren brown landscapes, and under-animated riders that we've all seen and played before. Heck, even the character select screen looks boring.
  10. Electronic Gaming Monthly
Just too troubled to even bother renting. [May 2002, p.112]
  11. Even taking the lack of MX games into consideration, this game is bad for everybody, and it's our sincerest hope that potential players will take our advice and stay very, very far away from this game.
  12. Play Magazine
The world's worst racing game continues to spread like a virus, making the GameCube (a port for every port!) its final destination. [May 2002, p.58]
  13. If you want a decent motocross game, you will be better off taking the time to dust off your 8-bit NES and finding your Excitebike cart.
  14. The graphics are possibly the worst the GameCube will ever see. The textures are miserable...Supercross World features nothing redeeming in any aspect of gaming.

N64 graphics a bit more polished, poor animations, limited and repetitive tracks, horrible soundtrack, average sound effects, innecesary acrobatics... I played it 2 hours and said 'enough' after that. Never played it again. Full Review »
