  1. Definitely one for the younger gamers (and by that I mean the under tens) and fans of the boy genius who'll no doubt find enough to entertain them.

The biggest trouble spot in Jimmy Neutron, though, is the fixed camera, which lets you see each area in the game from only one angle. While a fixed camera does a great deal to prevent the visual confusion that's often a problem in platform games, it means the environments can't be fully viewed.
  3. The problems are not just with the dullness of the game, the scrappy presentation or the lack of focus, but the controls are a bit shoddy too.
  4. Just because its targeted at youngsters doesn’t mean it has to be terrible.

The best game for any Jimmy lover out there. Strongly recommended for kids aged 2 months-137 years. It stands up to the challenge and makes for an exquisite experience on the GameCube. Expand

An absolutely stunning, amazing game. If anything was to make you sexually attracted to a video game, Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius would be the one to do it. Expand

Not even a functional platformer. The lighting looks like something from Duke Nukem 3d, the resolution is junky, and the game glitches easily. Whoever made this game needs a lesson in level design and a kick to the face. Expand

JNBG is one of those games where the playtesters involved need to all have their hands broken. This game stinks. The counter-intuitive controls are awful and the slow rate of speed at which Jimmy moves makes one wonder whether he and Harry Potter were in the same girls' PE class. For example, Jimmy can fall into radioactive waste in one section and only lose part of a "pie" (the life force indicator) and on other levels he's killed instantly if he accidentally hops into green goop. As far as children's games go this product is only suitable as a gift for kids you don't like. Expand
