  1. I almost don't even care about the rest of the game. I can't say enough about the pitch detector. It's one of the most incredible tools available for potential musicians, and I don't say that lightly.
  2. Although not perfect, Karaoke Revolution Party is a solid game for those looking for a good multiplayer title.
  3. Nintendo fans can now sing and dance to their heart's content, as Konami brings their solid music title to the Cube, with a nice song selection thrown in.
  4. It's certainly nice to have a real focus on multiplayer this time around-especially since that's when the game will see the most use, anyway-but the loss of the campaign mode is a real downer.

Harmonix's own "Guitar Hero" is still tops--mainly due to its cool factor--but if you need to entertain a rowdy group at your next gathering, nothing says hours of good times like Karaoke Revolution Party.
  6. And for those of us who couldn't sing to save our own lives (I'm with you guys on this one too), this game actually does help improve that department a bit.
  7. Game Informer
This is everything I've wanted the franchise to become. [Dec 2005, p.161]
  8. Easily the most fun you'll have singing outside of the shower, Karaoke Revolution Party takes the next logical step for the franchise and delivers what's probably the strongest showing of the series yet.
  9. While Karaoke Revolution Party certainly is the biggest karaoke videogame to date, the perhaps overly varied song list and gimmicky game modes detract somewhat from the game's obvious greatness.
  10. Karaoke Revolution Party makes a good party game, especially if you've got all the necessary peripherals, but it's no greater than the song list, which is too diverse for its own good.
  11. To say that this game is addictive would be an understatement. To say that it's infectious would be one as well.
  12. Like all Karaoke titles, this is a must buy for anyone from the tone deaf to the singing experts.
  13. The game is especially entertaining the first time gamers sit down and play it. Unfortunately, unless gamers are fans of the karaoke genre, the game does lose its novelty quickly.
  14. 76
The finest and most fun karaoke game on any console and even rivals many PC-based karaoke programs.
  15. Would-be singers will as always love this game, and it's a must have if you are collecting the series.
  16. Nintendo Power
One of the best party games around. [Jan 2006, p.105]
  17. Those of you with social lives, grab this game, take it (and your GameCube, if necessary) to your next party. It'll be a hit and people will love you for it.
  18. Play Magazine
We only have on question: Are you ready to rock? [Nov p.92]
  19. One advantage of dancing in a karaoke game is the music is better. I would rather dance to "Play That Funky Music" than to the grating songs that riddle games like Dance Dance Revolution.
