  • Summary: Live the true story behind the epic legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Based on the King Arthur movie from producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the King Arthur game lets you take control of one of five heroes, including Arthur, Lancelot, and Guinevere, each with unique weapons and skills. With three modes of battle, motion-captured fighting sequences and moves, and cutscenes from the film, King Arthur re-creates the events of this legendary tale. Expand

  1. In the end, it does a decent job of bringing the massive battle formula to the King Arthur license. [Feb 2005, p.9]
  2. Numerous playable characters are a big plus, but the repetitive enemies and environments are not. However, I'm always a fan of good cooperative play, which this title successfully incorporates. [Nov 2004, p.149]
  3. 69
The repetitive nature of this hack-and-slash title will eventually get the best of those who pursue it, and if it doesn't the unfair difficulty of some later levels probably will.
  4. It's solid-looking, but terribly tedious and irritatingly hard at points. In co-op, it's better, but it's a still a long way from being good.
  5. The lack of execution makes this a title to avoid.
  6. It doesn't have the polish and unlockable extras of the "LOTR" games. [Jan 2005, p.138]
  7. 40
And urgency is desperately what this game needs, but sadly doesn't have. Boredom is sure to set in during the very first level.
