It provides a great looking, challenging boxing title which has enough challenges and difficulties to keep you coming back to get drilled on some more.
For amateurs it is a button-mashing contest, for professionals it takes skill and strategy. That’s the only catch. People who dislike the randomness of hitting as many buttons as fast as they can will be turned off by the first impressions Knockout Kings presents.
The action is fierce, the graphics are great and the play control is rock soid. [Nov 2002, p.84]
The control mechanics are the core of the experience, and they're second-to-none in Knockout Kings 2003. Fighting is intuitive and flexible.

I think I might be in the minority thinking this game is an absolute mountain of canine fecal matter... just another quick hit to get a gamer’s $50 on a new console that doesn’t have any competition for it.
