  1. Having a perfect version of MMX3 is reason alone to spring for this package, so if you're a fan of 2D action, you really can't go wrong with it.
  2. The games in MMXC are the kinds that will make your wrists hurt and your palms sweat, and I mean that as the highest compliment. [Feb 2006, p.97]
  3. If you've got the patience and the drive, Mega Man X Collection is a fun title that challenges your gaming skills and gives you a good history lesson in the process.
  4. Mega Man X Collection follows the same basic formula as Capcom's excellent first Mega Man compilation, but it just doesn't have quite as much to offer.

Nicely done. All the games seem to be identical to their original versions. Some people may say otherwise... however, I've played most of these games in the past and they are the same. Gameplay is nice... a little frustrating at times. It definitely brings back a challenge for today's gamers - the kind of challenge that many of today's games can't offer. Bonuses aren't massive, but the games shouyld justify buying the collection. Expand

A megaman collection is, for the most part, something you will definitely buy and something you probably never will. X collection is no different, and will probably fail to bring in any new fans to the iconic character. This game is shallow, meaning there is very miniscul amounts of extra content worth unlocking, and the 7 games included are nothing spectacular, all extremely similar in gameplay and execution. Simply said, it drowns in megaman, and if your a fan, enough said. With a resonable amount of boredom and extra cash, I would only suggest this title to ones who are willing to except the fact that it offers absolutely nothing revolutionary and new. Its an outdated mesh of mediocre to fun sidescrolling mayhem. Expand
