Compared to D2D, "Thunder's" cars don't handle as smoothly and its Career mode is heavy on complexity and short on fun. [Dec 2002, p.194]
  2. This isn’t "F-Zero" or "Burnout." It is a much richer, deeper racing experience that you’ll appreciate for the accuracy of the physics and game play.
  3. 81
A bold and reasonably successful attempt to capture the total NASCAR experience.
  4. One of the most robust career modes of any driving game to date.
  5. It is a nice simulation of the NASCAR world and has redeeming qualities, especially if you like to smash cars into other cars with realistic body damage!
  6. The first racing game to feature four different NASCAR leagues - dirt, cup truck and modified. [Dec 2002, p.216]

Great game with an incredible career mode, I especially love how the sponsorship works in the game. If only I could hire a driver later in the game to race my lower level cars on the big race weekends. Collapse

*Yawn* just another boring race game.
