  • Summary: NCAA Football 2003 delivers the tradition and spirit of college football's storied programs with intense rivalries, authentic stadium atmospheres, and realistic gameplay. You'll choose from 117 Division 1-A and 27 Division 1-AA schools across the country, or create your own, and then coach your school through a variety of game modes. In Dynasty mode, you can recruit the best athletes, redshirt your developing players, and use TV exposure to gain status as you build a dominating force in the NCAA. NCAA Football 2003 also features a variety of new moves--including play fakes, spins, and one-foot toe drag--which you must master in order to reach the championship. Expand

The three versions of NCAA are virtually identical... The GameCube version doesn’t control quite as comfortably, but that’s mainly because the controller layout isn’t as suitable for sports games.
  2. The sleaziness of recruiting players to build a powerhouse program is almost worth the price of admission alone, but it’s a damn shame that you can’t bribe them when push comes to shove.
  3. From the tip of the shiny helmets to the grass-wedged cleats, NCAA Football 2003 is a marvel to behold.

While the exhibition games are fairly bland, the season mode as well as the create-a-team mode just jaks this game into stardom.
  5. The look and sound of the game is tremendous. There is a real sensation of taking part in something real here, an excitement that somehow isn't present when dealing with the professional franchises in the Madden series.

Forget about best college games, NCAA Football 2003 is the best football game out there for serious football videogamers... Challenging and satisfying.
  7. The play by play when applicable (while still a bit parrot-like) is seamless, the player models are so real you can smell the BO, and the replays so comprehensive you'll be picking the grass out of your teeth. [Aug 2002, p.69]

The game on the other two platforms is much better. The graphics and control on gamecube ruin the fun factor of the game. Overall it's still a great game. Expand
