  1. A great game that fixes a lot of the little problems with the 2002 game and adds a couple of nice features.
  2. The Create a Player and added theater mode aren't enough of a game addition to justify upgrading from last years version, unless of course your one of those insane fans that has to have the most recent stats for all the players.

This year's version offers a slim set of new additions, including the Create-A-Player and better graphics and animations, but for the most part, there isn't much new offered here.
  4. [Its] shortcomings make it hard to recommend if you’ve bought a previous edition in the past, but it’s just so damn fun to play and watch that it might be worth picking up anyway.
  5. Covers much of the same adrenaline-soaked turf as the 20-02 version. [Sept 2002, p.162]
  6. NFL Blitz 20-03 is a near carbon copy of 20-02, no two ways about it. If you like Blitz gameplay, you'll find it here...but the lack of innovation is startling.
