    EA's NHL title has certainly been improved over last year's offering and may actually be their finest work since "NHL 94." However, it feels like there have been more fixes than any truly groundbreaking additions to the game.

    Finally, an EA hockey game that is fun again. Takes over NHL 2K3's spot as best hockey game on the Gamecube. Graphics (except for crowd faces) are great. Appears to be no slow down during gameplay. It's not easy on medium level which is nice. They handle speed bursts nicely in that the burst speed and resulting fatigue are adjustable which means you can eliminate someone just pressing speed burst all the time. Definitely worth checking out if you are a hockey fan.… Expand
