  • Summary: Play as Boog and Elliot in this outrageous game based on the new movie Open Season™. Team up with all your favorite characters to put Timberline Forest back under nature's control!
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 2 out of 6
  2. Negative: 1 out of 6
  1. Ubisoft's GCN adaptation of Open Season, however, craftily dodges critical pans by offering a fast-paced and funny adventure that gives maxium entertainment and minimal frustration to the members of its young target audience. [Nov. 2006, p.92]
  2. 60
The comedy, while basic, actually had us laughing a few times through the game, and even though the story and character designs from the film are amazingly cookie-cutter, the game offers a few high points for anyone with little tikes in desperate need of some gaming goodness to go with the afternoon flick.
  3. This rendition of Open Season is a plodding adventure full of inane fetch quests and lifeless dialogue scenes.
  4. Open Season is playable but you won't enjoy playing it. Its dull collecting scenarios and repetitive sound bites will drain your soul. Another bad movie tie-in. [Dec 2006, p.94]
