  • Summary: When Mario, Peach, and an entourage of Peach's loyal Toad friends set out for a tropical vacation on lovely Isle Delfino, they're in store for much more than a relaxing holiday. A mustachioed maniac has mucked up the entire island, and Mario is accused of committing the crime. Armed with a hi-tech water cannon called FLUDD (Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device), Mario sets out to clean the island, clear his name, and solve the mystery of the villainous vandal. With new enemies, moves, and surprises, Super Mario Sunshine offers plenty of challenges. Expand

  1. One of the best games on the Gamecube. Everything is fun, and there is never a dull moment.
  2. Combine the wonderfully fluid control system, level designs that ooze the 'one more go' appeal and the fact that it's Mario, and you've got one of the best games in a long time and certainly the GameCube's finest hour to date. [Import]
  3. A great, open-ended platforming playground with some amazing visual effects adapted to a slightly updated gameplay and art direction.
  4. To say that the camera in this game is atrocious is like saying being kicked in the teeth kinda hurts-it gives the person an idea about how bad it is, but it doesn't even begin to describe the agony in detail.

  1. When I think abuot the "Gamecube" , first game I remember is SMS it was a hard game , but so good I never could playing it , it is an improvement from SM 64 and I agree with that! What a fun game it never gets old. Expand
  2. While not quite as mind blowing and addictive as super mario 64, Super mario sunshine is still an excellent game on its own, with fantastic music, spot on controls, great design, and beautiful graphics (especially the water effects). The game play is innovative, but not quite as fun as other mario titles. however, this game has a very interesting design that borrows from Mario 64, but also offers its own twist to the formula, which is always a good thing. This is a really awesome gamecube game, and one that i definitely reccomend. Expand

I don't know. Shoot me or something. I didn't get it. It was a weezy, jumbled up premise with nothing addictive about the gameplay. And the water pack is just plain frustrating. Sorry mario, you've lost your touch. Expand

I want some of what these reviewers were obviously smoking. Either that, or I must be playing the wrong game. Graphics and sound are lovely, but the controls seem too loose for a Mario game, and the third-person camera is the single worst third-person camera I have ever experienced. Combining these faults makes accurate control no more than a crazy dream, and a platformer lives or dies by the accuracy of its controls. This one is dead and buried. Expand
