  1. A complete package. It combines some fine storytelling, great presentation values on every level, interesting puzzles, and great platforming to make for a fun ride that doesn't leave too soon or overstay its welcome.
  2. The game's balanced humor ensures that players won't lose interest, and the ability to jump in and out of proceedings by a second human player definitely adds an extra dimension to what's already a great adventure platform title.

Tak and Lok are funny, likeable heroes who spring to life with impressively fluid animation and brilliant voice work. Kids will love them from the start. And the game's new two-character dynamic successfully breathes fresh life into the series.

While the title does introduce a lot of new elements to spice up the Tak formula, they unfortunately come off feeling as though they could have fleshed out a bit more if the developer had more dev-time.

Control is still a tad clunky but a super fun game nevertheless. [Nov p.94]
  6. To Avalanche Software's credit, The Great Juju Challenge represents a valid step towards a final acclimatisation.
  7. Tak 3 certainly has some adorable moments, but they're overshadowed by a frustrating design and sloppy gameplay mechanics.

It was one of the first few coop games that managed to do so in a sense where you actually had to work together, one person couldn't beat the game on his own if the other person didn't want to help. It wasn't a shooter where one person could do all the work. It was amazing the feeling of playing this game with my brother, it brought us so close. We laughed so much because certain parts of the games we managed to exploit. This was before the internet so my brother and I would try everything to get glitches to work. This by far has to be one of my most played games of all time which is pretty amazing. This game earned a perfect score. Not because the graphics were good, not because the gameplay was perfect. It was just so simple and it brought my brother and I close and it was truly fun, we didn't play the game just to beat it, we didn't play it to reach a certain point, we played it for fun and that is one of the greatest feelings. Not many games can do that for me but this was one of them. The music was good, the coop was beyond fun, a great game in my memory. Expand
