It captures the spirit of the Hulkster to a tee. Bounding building to building across cities and leaving huge craters in your wake is more addictive than gambling...The game's ingenius side challenges are an absolute ball.
  2. For once, believe the game's name and hype - this is an almost endlessly entertaining game with tons of fun and gratuitous destruction.
  3. The fluid animations, the massive amounts of destruction, the excellent comic-influenced roots; Radical went above and beyond the call of duty to bring what can quite possibly be considered the best comic book-based video game ever.
  4. Apart from virtually every aspect of gaming that Ultimate Destruction pulls off beautifully, the pure raw fun to be had with this title alone makes it worth a purchase. There's madcap enjoyment to be had here the kind of which you'd find in "Super Smash Bros. Melee."
  5. The missions are varied enough to keep you going and take advantage of what makes the game fun; if you like classic beat 'em up games like "Final Fight" or "Streets of Rage 2," then Ultimate Destruction is a game you can't pass up; mindless, destructive fun that has never been done better than this.
  6. A quality title full of replayability and creativity. Even after completing 30+ story missions and 40+ side missions, plenty remains to explore and destroy in Hulk's universe.
  7. The audio design is superb in its relentless ferocity, yet quite detailed and subtle at times as well. Naturally, everything in this title is about the smashing, crashing, and exploding, so those of you with subwoofers will find them getting quite a workout.
  8. They've listened to the criticism and have delivered a game that's full of action - which means it's short on Banner and long on Hulk. This is the best Hulk game ever.
  9. The story is cleverly constructed and manages to bring in some interesting support characters while, more importantly, providing some variety in Hulk's objectives.

It's one game that's worth the price of admission. Not only is it a great action title, it may very well be the best superhero game for current-gen consoles.
  11. You will find yourself just goofing off in this game for a long time, collecting comic books, destroying various different properties, and doing a lot of other things because it is just fun to be a mean green wreaking machine.

This game is short, but good. The overall environment is about as large as spiderman 2. The list of moves you can do is nearly endless. The more things you smash the more power you gain, and the more things you can smash. Your power level is your health. As you get hit you lose power. The game is great for just running around and bashing things. The vast array of moves allows for amazingly intiutive gameplay. It would get a ten but it's far too short for that. It clocks in at only about 15 hours, and some of the missions are lame. Full Review »
