Very fun and very funny; it deftly satirizes Grand Theft Auto while being almost as entertaining, and it even improves on several aspects of GTA's gameplay (instant mission restarts, a superior guidance system, and an easily accessible collection of vehicles).
  2. This thing's sweeter than that beer with candy pieces in it; y'know, Skittlebrau. [Nov 2003, p.157]
  3. I suppose the upshot of it is, is that I would recommend The Simpsons: Hit & Run, particularly to those that may have been let down by prior Simpsons games.
  4. Although it's wonderful to drive around a fully realised 3D Springfield at breakneck speed in Otto's bus, we can't help but feel that things are a little formulaic.

I was shocked how much I loved this game, usually Simpsons games are the worst, this is easly their best. that's great because I'm a huge fan of the show, I played this many hours. Never did beat the last level though. Expand

This game kept me occupied for hours. I am a HUGE fan of the Simpsons and this game just takes the cake. Like many Simpsons games they spoof other games. For example, The Simpsons Road Rage was a spoof on Crazy Taxi, The Simpsons Skateboarding was a spoof on Tony Hawk, The Simpsons: Hit and Run, a spoof on Grand Theft Auto. Loads of fun, loads of laughs, ending up being one of the best Simpsons games ever. I hope more like these are to come. Expand
  3. This game is amazing, one of the only Simpson games that i actually like. It has some really good level design however some parts of the game can get repetitive. Expand
  4. Hi, my reviews work on a 3 way system, i rate graphics, audio/sound, gameplay. then i have an overall rank for each game i review Graphics: It's like watching the cartoons. Looks awesome, no complains (9/10)

Audio: The Music is fitting and sounds good. however there are a lot of one liners in Simpsons Hit & run.
And the sound effects are somewhat repetitive(6/10)

Gameplay: The game runs Well about 85% of the time which is consisting of a great open world, a fun "grand theft auto" aspect and an awesome 1 player experience. the other 15% is a mixed bag of Bad multiplayer, infuriating reverse controls, bad platforming and a bad camera the works well about 60% of the time. but overall it is good. (7/10)

Overall: this game plays good with more pros than cons. Simpsons Hit & Run gets a 7/10
