An immersing, profound experience that is equally as rewarding as it is exhilarating.
You can think of Circuits as a good way to relax for a few minutes, perhaps after a particularly hard day. Given the low price offered on multiple platforms, it seems it is just not a bad deal.
Circuits lacks the difficulty of SpaceChem and excitement of Audiosurf and 140. It is not so much a game as a visual guide to music creation for dummies.

Summary Simple in concept, but very challenging and rewarding, Circuits is a puzzle game that requires careful listening to complete each level. The goal of Circuits : piece together the different parts of a song. Sounds easy, but maybe not.
