Don't play it, though, obviously. It's rubbish.

It excellently captures the visual style and bloody feel of the movie. It's a gorgeous game, even if there are only two different character models for the enemies. The water effect in particular look amazing. Combat might not be deep, but it's very fun. It's bloody, slow motion finishers are a treat, and just mindlessly slashing your way through enemies is a blast.

With only four missions that can be completed in a few minutes there's not a lot of content here, but the high replay value more than makes up for it. It's a game you'll want to play through multiple times. Not too mention it's free-to-play and doesn't have any in-app purchases. So there's really no reason to not at least give it a shot if you're a fan of the source material or just enjoy some good hack n' slash gameplay. Still, it is hard to not wish for just a few more levels.

Regardless it's still a blast to play. Even if the length makes it feel more like demo than a complete game, the fun combat, free price tag, and high replay value mean that it's a demo that you'll want to play through many times over. It's an excellent game to have with you on your mobile device for some satisfying action on the go. My total score for the game is an 8.4/10.
