They say size isn't important but clearly 9mm is not enough. A major failure by Gameloft – the game is mediocre at best and laughable at worst. [August 2011, p.74]

  1. If you're looking for a console quality shooter that is not a remake of a game, 9mm is probably your best bet. Underneath the excessive swearing that gives Kane & Lynch a run for its money lies a good shooter that takes considerable inspiration from Max Payne. While there are some pretty bad stereotypes, it is hard to deny that the game is fun. The characters are pretty bland and generic, as is the story, but the firefights are what will keep you coming back for more. The inclusion of freemium options like buying extra armor or bullets is disappointing, and definitely is definitely an early sign of worse things to come for Gameloft, but this game is a good shooter that is definitely worth picking up if on sale.
