If nonstop action and a hail of bullets is your guilty pleasure of choice, A Thug In Time won’t disappoint. It’s a shooter that’s on sensory perception overload with gunfire that would make even Tony Montana blush.

Reminds me of Guerrilla Bob. The theme is really fun and a fresh idea. (How many zombie games can you play, right?) I agree the weapons are what make this game. The prices are way cheaper than games like Gun Bros and Zombiewood that charge $99.99 for all the weapons, where as in this game you can unlock everything for $9.99. In my opinion, it is well worth it and the game delivers when you get things like a freeze gun, a gun that shoots fire balls and a gun that sends saw blades to decapitate! Awesome! Expand

Fun little shooter game with lots of detail, nice strategy with trying to figure out how to unlock the barriers by shooting the red ones firstFun little shooter game with lots of detail, nice strategy with trying to figure out how to unlock the barriers by shooting the red ones first and of course the non-stop violence from shooting up crazy vikings, cowboys and other enemies from different time periods. (Haven't got that far yet but I can't wait!) I haven't bought anything yet but I am still able to progress nicely for free (well after I swapped weapons from the hand gun to the machine gun which was still free). I really like the powerups. My favorite is the bombs that drop from the sky. I used this one when I was struggling during the defend the portal level. I like all the different time period scenes. All in all, a really different but fun shooter. Expand

I was a little confused by the story but then it made sense after the cutscene. I thought it was cool. So you take place as Kai who was chosen based on his relation to a chosen ancestor to activate a device that can help save humanity but to do this you must find hidden crystals dispersed throughout time. I appreciated the thought behind this versus your typical shooter games with little plot. The barriers were a little confusing at first but if you follow the yellow arrow its easy. The game is challenging but for me that added to its appeal because it made me want to try again. You can choose to continue the level for 5,000 coins which you can earn for free or purchase in the in app store. After each level you can earn coins and cash by achieving the objectives, so you could potentially earn enough to buy things without having to spend real money but it would be hard and take a while. I understand it costs people a lot of money to make games like this and as an avid game player, I don't have a problem supporting the industry. I agree with the other comments that its refreshing to see a game not try and rip us off with ridiculous prices for once. For me the game was fun and held my attention. I had no problem raging through the viking levels to get to the Boss level and that is where it got really interesting! Its a huge game so it will take me a while to get through it but its nice to play a game that will last and not be over in a couple hours. Expand
