A good endless runner with a nice touch of personality: if you want quick and immediate fun this might be the right game.

Like most of the games from developer Rebel Twins, Aliens Drive Me Crazy isn't something most people are going to want to sit down and play for hours at a time, but is incredibly fun in short bursts where its limited gameplay scope isn't quite so apparent.
  4. May 8, 2014
Distinctly wacky in nature, while loose controls might affect things Aliens Drive Me Crazy is still rather fun to dip into.
  5. May 15, 2014
A good distraction for anyone who's looking for a new infinite runner with a dash of personality, but not a game that will be long remembered.

Unlike DWAT, this game oozes replay ability from the get-go and you won't be able to put it down once you start so the ability to exercise self-discipline with this game is much needed.

You play as this cartoony hero who drives his car through districts to rescue the citizens captured by the aliens (hence the title).Every district begins with your hero driving and making his car jump through buildings, smashing barrels of TNT and exploding watermelons, dodging pick-up trucks with rear spikes and aliens disguised as human enemies firing at you including evading a giant mechanical dino-robot that stomps after you if you fall behind occasionally who may or may not gobble you up if your reflex time is dismal. After about 2 minutes of smashing through the district, you'll promptly arrive at the alien base where all the citizens are held captive. Here is where you'll need to leave your car and enter the building to perform your heroic duties like shooting down the alien enemies, dodging and shooting down helicopters that fire rockets at you. Once you've successfully retrieved the key by randomly shooting at enemies, you'll need to head to the top of the building to destroy the alien portal. At the end of each world, you'll face an boss to shoot down. All these smashing, shooting and rescuing earns you coins to be used in the in-app shop where you can purchase power-ups, unlock guns, cars and costumes for your hero.

With that much of content (don't be fooled by the initial display of 9 districts as the levels are just immensely vast) and coupled with the replay ability factor, Aliens Drive Me Crazy is not your average endless runner of sorts. It excels in every aspect from music to SFX and superb cartoon style graphics that looks amazing on your Retina Display iOS device all at a reasonable price tag and no in-app purchases.Truly one of the underrated gems on the App Store this year.
