I suppose what I like most about Asphalt 7 is the fact that it doesn't go out of its way to grab your money beyond the 0.99 cent pricetag.

You'll do yourself a disservice to avoid it, especially at $0.99.

It is difficult to keep the quality of a series, but Gameloft manages to do it with this sequel, which has interesting additions like an improved control system, enhanced graphics and a more complete multiplayer.

For the price Asphalt 7 is one of the best arcade racers on iOS. What it lacks in originality it makes up for in polish. Just don't expect a full console experience; it still feels like a mobile game.

Maybe Asphalt 7 is not so innovative as we might expect from the 7th chapter of a well known Gameloft franchise and yes, if you already own Asphalt 6 you could easily live also without it. But believe me, going wrong with Asphalt 7 is pretty impossible: great graphics, excellent gameplay, intuitive control system. Considering its starting promotional price, denying it a chance would be a huge mistake!

Asphalt 7 Heat is a pretty full package that, while not being a major overhaul of the series, does enough to warrant a purchase by fans. It's certainly one of the best looking games on the App Store and you can't fault it for doing pretty much what it sets out to do; being a fast, no nonsense arcade racer.

Asphalt 7 is basically Asphalt 6, only with more pathetic attempts at social integration and obnoxious offers to share your progress with your friends.

Asphalt 7 is probably the best in the Asphalt series. It offers exhilarating street racing with some exciting jumps in the course. It runs and looks well on all of my devices (from iPod 4g to iPad Air). My only concern is the in-app-purchases. Like any other recent Gameloft game, there are tons of opportunities to pay-to-win out of a tough race. The first half of the game is relatively easy, though the second half is punishingly hard without dropping loads of virtual cash. There is an imbalance between money earned from races versus money spent on required updates for more challenging races. There is also an extreme imbalance in multiplayer. Unfortunately, skill is mostly determined by the speed of your car more than anything. More strives should have been taken to balance the multiplayer. Still, there's no better racing game on the app store and the pay system is much tamer than games such as Real Racing 3 or Asphalt 8. I'd wait for a sale, but Asphalt 7 still is worth getting. Expand

Fun. For 10 minutes. Needless to say, it is starting to lose innovation and even falling behind in graphical elements compared to other high-quality racers on the App store. Poorly done. Collapse
