    While there have been times that I've been tempted to shut the game off in disgust, I still find myself wanting to play more.

    While this season's offering doesn't really innovate, it continues to polish one of the finer iOS baseball titles to a lovely sheen.

    Since this is pretty much a shiny, cleaned up version of last year's game, whether it will catch the fancy of existing Baseball Superstars fans depends on whether 7 months is a long enough gap to leave you wanting to start fresh.

    It just can't push itself into incredible awesomeness because the designers missed two huge points that hinder what should be one of the best games on the iPhone. Baseball Superstars II is kind of like an infield hit: it definitely gets you on base, but isn't the homerun you wish it was.
