Boson X will not offer you a bread crumb trail of rewards or new hats. It's not going to ask you to come back every day for a daily reward, and it has no IAP to sell you. Its only offer to you is the challenge of unlocking all the stages, and beating the best scores you and your friends have set down. Yet, somehow, through a mix of style and very measured mechanics, it's an amazingly compelling game.

Fans of endless runners will feel right at home here. There’s a slight sense of repetition, but the surreal art direction and high intensity gameplay provides a good level of difficulty, which helps Boson X stand out.

A spectacular kick in the teeth of the endless-runner genre, Boson X is a brilliant, twitching wonder.

Whether you enjoyed Super Hexagon or not, Boson X is a game that needs, nay, requires a place on your mobile device. Its manic split-second gameplay will reel you in, while the thought of someday topping the leaderboards will keep you coming back time and time again.

Okay. I don't normally give high scores, but this has to be an exception. This game doesn't annoy you with ads, it doesnt annoy you with obtainable features, but it DOES provide a GREAT experience, although many will find it hard, you will love it. Full Review »
