The iPad and iPhone may not be quite the gaming machines Apple wants them to be, but this is one format perfectly suited for touch screens and The Smoking Mirror is a great adventure just waiting to be explored.

The game itself continues to justify its enduring popularity, thanks to sharp writing, narrative intrigue, quality voiceovers and concise puzzles that challenge but rarely frustrate. Maybe if enough of you buy this one, we can persuade Cecil and co. to finally deliver us an all-new game.

Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror is a fantastic game. The story feels as fresh and as entertaining as it did back in the day, and the slightly improved graphics are much appreciated. Many hours of entertaining storytelling lie ahead.

An entertaining adventure defined by its sharp writing and classic gameplay, Broken Sword - The Smoking Mirror: Remastered comes highly recommended.

Still fun and well worth the price thanks to the beautiful 2D graphics, Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror fail to repeat the great performance of the first chapter because of a more driven gameplay and less interesting characters.

The Smoking Mirror fails to live up to the standards of its predecessor, but it's still an enjoyable point-and-click adventure.

While 'The Smoking Mirror' may not feature the same level of polish and love that went in to its predecessor, it's still a great classic adventure game to curl up with.

One of the most ingenious features with this game is the dropbox functionality.

It's clear there's a market for point-and-click adventure games on the iPhone, and Broken Sword II is a very fine addition.

Broken Sword 2 will last you hours, having all the playability of a full-priced PC game. It is the kind of game that could convert people who wouldn't look twice at adventure games, and is easily one of my most highly recommended titles on the platform.

Like the first game, this is must have. Revolution is possibly the best developer for the iOS. Both Broken Swords and Beneath a Steel Sky: Remastered are just amazing. Can't wait for their new game. I just know it will be amazing! Full Review »
