Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War does its best as a cover shooter, losing touch when it comes to go wandering around the map. Nonetheless, it's a solid game, with a nice and rich single player campaign.
The combat aspects and graphics are both very good, but the all the time bars really hold this game back.
The drop-in, drop-out nature of the stages and easy to pick-up gameplay makes Brothers in Arms 3 the perfect quick-fix of battlefield action.
Not the best in its genre, but Brothers in Arms 3 offers intense action set in World War II.
A nice shooter, dragged down by the usual freemium business model.
Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War is an unremarkable offering that is too bland, and simplistic to recommend.
The potential is there for something great, but basic issues like sluggish movement, forced upgrades, and lack of an interesting story backbone leave us with exactly what Brothers in Arms originally strove so hard to set itself apart from: just another mediocre WWII shooter.
