  • Summary: This is an action game in which players earn points for creating traffic pileups. From a top-down perspective, players initiate crashes by driving 'cartoony' vehicles (e.g., cars, trucks, vans, buses) into busy intersections; multiple crashes trigger score multipliers and rack up large 'bills' of property damage. Each level is accompanied by crashing sounds, small explosions, and vocal encouragement (e.g., 'Cool,' 'Maximum Carnage!'). In some levels, players are instructed to crash into police cars (e.g., 'Crash them before they bust you!'); in other sequences, oversized airplanes, tornados, lobster monsters, and UFOs slide across the screen, destroying any vehicles in their path. While the console version is good, Burnout CRASH! feels right at home on the iPhone.

While seasoned players may find that Burnout Crash! is a little lighter on content than they would like, the game is certainly a blast while it lasts and if you're up against friends on Origin the Autolog can get very competitive.

It feels a lot like eating junk food - not a lot of substance, it attacks your senses in different ways, not particularly good for you but great while it lasts - but afterwards, the satisfaction does not stay around for very long. All in all, a nice fun diversion of a game

Burnout Crash! thinks big with its large maps, huge explosions and crazy mix of mayhem-inducing bonuses; it's fun, but mindless and the perfect distraction for those after some simple fun.

It seems like for every positive that Burnout Crash! provides, there is a negative to counterbalance it. While the great gameplay may win it a few bonus points to put it over the edge overall, the game suffers from things that shouldn't be a problem.

Burnout CRASH! is just a silly mess of fire, numbers and wrecked cars.

While there is some basic fun in blowing things up, random explosions make this game feel like it's trying really hard to get Michael Bay to notice it. The only time I was happy playing the game was when I recognised a cover of The Primatives' Crash was playing in the background.
