A real surprise to me in a truly positive sense. It merges two genres almost seamlessly, and manages to keep the formula fresh for hours. The slightly sketchy controls at times disturb the gameplay. In the end it is still an easy game to recommend to both the casual gamer usually into match 3 puzzlers, and the hardcore MeatBoy platformer fans.
Offering more than 100 levels, catchy visuals, and a unique combination of game styles Candy Boy is a game that was a real pleasure to play. While far from perfect, the sheer unique gameplay is enough to make Candy Boy a title to add to your iPhone's game collection.
But, if you love match-3 puzzles then this cute and colorful cross-genre platform / puzzle game may tickle your fancy.
Imagine Dr. Mario taking place in Candyland, with a little more freedom of movement and you have Candy Boy in a nutshell. A candy coated nutshell.

Summary Being a candy boy is never as easy as it looks! Casper woke up one day, intent on making more of his delicious candy, only to find that Candy World had been attacked by ravenous candy-hungry worms. Where did these worms come from?
