Chaos Rings Ω might be more of the same, but in this case that's a very good thing.

While not as stunningly original as the first title, Chaos Rings Omega is still a great RPG that manages to polish the formula even more thanks to an engaging storyline and minor gameplay improvements.

Solely for diehard fans of Chaos Rings and with the first game currently on sale, you'll be better of starting there if you're just a curious passerby. It's not bad by any means, but it doesn't even pretend to offer anything different or new.

With a 10-12 hour story mode, an optional new-game+, and a fairly high difficulty curve to tie it all together, CRO is a robust - if not all that replayable - RPG.

  1. Though it isn't an entirely original experience (for, as has been said, it's been copied a lot from the original Chaos rings), it is an immensely fun title that you won't want to miss. It's every bit as fun as the original Chaos Rings and is worth every dollar Expand
