Coldfire Keep is a traditional, old-school dungeon
crawler, lovingly hand-crafted for fans of the genre. Featuring grid-based movement, and active turn-based combat, Coldfire Keep draws inspiration from classic late 80's and early 90's dungeon crawling adventures. Expand

But you will look forward to it, because in spite of its shortcomings, Coldfire Keep is a really nifty little dungeon crawler. It doesn't compete with the giants of the genre, but as an introduction to the form that you can carry under your arm and play whenever you have a few minutes (or a few hours) to kill, it really should not be overlooked.

You have to play Coldfire Keep on its own terms, but if you accept that then you'll find a challenging but rewarding RPG.

Coldfire Keep isn’t going to overthrow the likes of The Quest as the premier iOS dungeon crawler, however it still offers an experience worth playing through.

Coldfire Keep is perhaps only for those willing to stomach some old-school dungeon crawling, but they will dig it.

My Coldfire Keep experience had its share of highs and lows due to the game’s horrific double tap flaws. Now that the issue has been resolved, my dungeon crawling days will continue in this kingdom. Hopefully the only further bugs will die by my sword and not from a future App store update.

Coldfire Keep is genuine, and for dungeon crawler fans, that makes it worth a look.
