An enjoyable experience, and one that does the adventure strategy genre proud.
Slow and saddled with a frustrating interface, Companions has a lot to say, but only the most patient will want to listen.
I wouldn't say Companions was a bad game – it's just a really frustrating one.
Companions is a long game with a decent (albeit kinda vague) story, made even longer because its seemingly simple mechanics are impossible to get going.
