It's hard to know which audience Glu is really going after. If it's the Mafia Wars crowd, Contract Killer deserves a big check in the win column. If it's action gamers who haven't really embraced freemium gaming yet, Contract Killer doesn't quite go far enough to hold their interest for long.

Ultimately, Contract Killer is a decent way to pass the time, and popping someone in the head is a guilty pleasure. That said, visiting the same environments and killing people (who rarely put up a fight) slows the game's momentum. Of course, it's free to download, and who knows. Perhaps you'll discover your true calling as a virtual sniper.

Got Contract killer mixed up with another game... it didn't deserve the score I originally gave it. What Contract Killer does do it does veryGot Contract killer mixed up with another game... it didn't deserve the score I originally gave it. What Contract Killer does do it does very well(for the most part). You play as an assassin with no name, which isn't actually explained at all, with contracts that you must complete. All of them involve murdering people. It sits you under cover in a fixed position where you must snipe down your targets in order to win. The graphics are fairly good. But all of it is just repeated again and again in each level to the point where its just lazy level design. Also, its not actually explained what your contracts are at the start. As far a I was concerned I was getting a phone contract. Full Review »
