Cracking Sands could be described as a mix between "Mario Kart" and "Motorstorm". There are some problems with the camera, but overall is another good game from Polarbit.

Cracking Sands is a comprehensive top-down racer. Although it plays like many other racing games, the numerous game mode, races, and customization features make it one of the better racing apps available.

Featuring lots of customization options, multiple race types, and online multiplayer, Cracking Sands has a lot going for it, but the gameplay just isn't all that compelling.

While Cracking Sands looks like it has some promise, the fact is that - in our opinion, that is - it just wasn't very much fun to play. The bad outweighs the good, and the whole time, it was hard not to imagine ourselves instead playing other better examples of the genre.

  1. Awesome game, takes some time till you get used to the controls but once you control the drift the gameplay is superb. They've managed to bring some new aspects to the kart racing genre as a top down approach to the game and an active choice and use of your weapons. Like the customization part of your kart and character ... in summary, a great kart racer Expand
