Still quite fun, but it isn't entirely fresh. Those looking for new levels with new concepts that explore the familiar formula will enjoy this. Those tired of the game won't find much here to appeal to them.

A cute casual game that packs a great deal of strategy and fun into a tiny package.

Featuring a couple of intriguing new gameplay elements and the same terrific presentation that has spawned a slew of GUI look-alikes, Cut The Rope: Experiments delivers another solid set of levels to challenge fans of the cute green monster.

Cut the Rope: Experiments is not so much as sequel as it is a separate expansion to the game's world - this gives ZeptoLab some room to breathe and experiment with new ideas (as you'd expect from the title), giving it some great potential, but for now it's a fun addition to a game you probably already enjoy.

Experiments feels more like a straightforward level pack than a bona-fide sequel - and one that most players will blitz through in no time.

A high quality puzzler, and well worth the asking price. [Nov 2011, p.94]

A terrific release in an exceptional series. With 75 new levels to start with and the promise of more to come, there's simply no good reason to keep this one out of your collection. Besides – everyone loves a good mad scientist.

The 75 new levels are just as polished and fun as ever. Cut the Rope veterans will likely relish the higher difficulty to boot. Bottom line: Experiments is more of the same, which is fantastic.

    It's wonderful.

The new Cut the Rope isn't the eagerly awaited incredible follow-up. Short and with few innovations, it's more a large update of the current version than a true sequel. That said, the game's charming protagonist, superb production values and highly addictive concept make this an excellent, must-buy title.

Cut the Rope: Experiments adds lots of kooky contraptions to the original hit.

Cut the Rope: Experiments is sure to please anyone who likes the original (which is just about everybody).

It's nice to see Om Nom finally freed from the boxes, and the professor has the potential to add a bit more storyline to the series. But if you're looking for something that changes up the formula, significantly expands on the original or otherwise feels brand new, you won't find it here.

Cut the rope experiments then is very much more of the same. But when more of the same is this good, then it's not always a bad thing.

A fun sequel, full of great ideas and changes in gameplay, that repeates the success of the first game. A simple and addictive aplication recommended for those who played the first one or newcomers who want to try something fun.

Some of the new puzzles effectively show off ZeptoLab's creative energy, but for the most part we're being sold another slice of an admittedly entertaining game. Still, it's hard to feel short-changed when considering the weenie price and, more importantly, it's impossible to discount the entertainment derived from its content.

And following the original "Cut The Rope," we have "Cute The Rope: Experiments." A very nice sequel to the original, adding in a new twist to the story. In the hands of a mad (but not bad) scientist, you play a series of "experiments" where, just like the first one, you have to feed "Om Nom" tons of candy. Clean graphics, new puzzles, and simple, yet fun gameplay, makes this one a must get. It earns a 9 from me. Full Review »

Just like the original, "Cut the Rope: Experiments" has some new challenging levels but the gameplay and the rules remains the same. The story has some new twists, which are exciting. Full Review »

I'm a bit thorn because after playing original CtR it's very hard not to feel a slight deja vu :) But if you played it you may not want to play it all over again even though that those levels have been cleverly tweaked by new toys. BUT if you (by any chance) didn't played a lot CtR this is (imho) a better version of the original. -1 for selling this as a new product rather than a DLC or an update. Full Review »
