  1. May 6, 2013
Despite the lack of story, Dark Avenger is fun and satisfying in short bursts.
  2. May 2, 2013
Dark Avenger certainly isn't the deepest or most compelling action RPG on the App Store but it can be good fun in short bursts.
  3. May 2, 2013
There's a great chance you'll run into the usual in-app purchase wall that ultimately mars free-to-play video games, but for the most part (and given what it is), Dark Avenger is a decent though unremarkable iPhone and iPad effort that'll give you something else to play in between releases. With this title, the less you expect, the more it entertains.
  4. May 3, 2013
Dark Avenger is to ARPGs what Zenonia is to KRPGs. An average effort hampered by design choices centred around grinding and in-app purchases.
  5. May 14, 2013
Action-heavy dungeon-crawling abounds in Dark Avenger, but the repetitive nature of the gameplay robs the title of any long-term appeal.
  6. May 16, 2013
Perhaps with updates, Gamevil will add more to Dark Avenger, and bring it up to a competitive level. It’s worthwhile to try because it’s different enough and free, but unless you’re playing on the subway or are bored at work and have nothing better to do, it won’t last you long.
