If you like rhythm games, Demons' Score is a must buy because, well… iNiS. Fans of iNiS have been clamouring for this moment ever since the App Store first opened its doors.

A gorgeous, fast-paced rhythm game that feels a bit samey if you don't shell out a lot of money.

To play as the other demons, and enjoy their music and rhythm patterns in the corridor sections, you'll have to shell out an astonishing $2.99 per demon, or simply put up with repetitive corridor runs to get to the better stuff. If you think CSR Racing was greedy, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Given its inevitably repetitive nature, Demons' Score is tough to recommend. It starts out so well but it's not long before it becomes apparent that it's all just too steep a price to persevere at, no matter how uniquely quirky the story might be.

Demons' Soul is a pricey way to enjoy the music of some of Square Enix' top composers, but if you can stand the forced repetition you'll get to enjoy a competent rhythm-game and the rather amusing storyline attached to it.

Sadly, the developer's good work is all but undone by its publisher's demanding IAP structure.

Unfortunately, Demons' Score is marred by some unforgivable issues. Most notable is the repetition, which has you playing through the exact same song and tap sequence dozens of times to reach each of the more entertaining boss encounters.

From now till sometime in early Jan., while this game is down to .99 cents, for the entire experience you're paying MAYBE 10 bucks for the whole thing. Beforehand it was up towards 30-40 bucks so this is a steal at this price. The quality of the game itself is marvelous. The songs are excellent and it really reminds me alot of Elite Beat Agents from back in the day. Of course, it's not a game you can play around everyone because of the outfits the main female wears but, at this price, it's almost a must buy for anyone who likes rhythmic games, even if you only purchase the base app. I'll most likely come back and change my review sometime in Jan after the price goes back up so jump on this ASAP.
