Disco Zoo lets you run a fun loving zoo that offers up a special connection in a set-up that’s made for anyone to enjoy.
Regardless, playing until you hit that "Now what?" point is pretty fun, particularly without the feeling of required IAP, which still makes Disco Zoo pretty easy to recommend checking out.
Disco Zoo manages to balance puzzle elements and free-to-play mechanics well, resulting in a funky - and fun - time waster.
If you had a fondness for games like Ruby Skies and Adventure World, Disco Zoo does a fine job of scratching that itch. If you believe that overly simple games are an offense to gamers everywhere, this probably isn’t the NimbleBit game for you.
The same formula of Tiny Towers, Pocket Planes and Pocket Trains doesn’t seem to work here, and Disco Zoo feels like a half-baked attempt: maybe it’s time for NimbleBit to try something new.
A delightful free-to-play collect-'em-up that doesn't quite have the gameplay depth necessary to captivate all species of gamer.
A polished title with a couple of nice ideas completely undermined by boring mechanics and obtrusive, game-breaking monetization.
