Feb 25, 2011100id have tried to fix the control problems of FPSs on the iPhone and have succeeded by removing movement all together. The game is a little pricey, but you'll get your money's worth.

Feb 25, 201190Don't judge DOOM Resurrection simply because it's "on-rails." It's actually an incredibly engaging and fun game that was truly made specifically for the iPhone. Yes, at $9.99 it's a bit pricy, but that's a worthy price to pay for one of the iPhone's best games.

Feb 25, 201188Excellent use of the Doom universe in a style that suits phones. [Sept 2009, p.83]

Feb 25, 201180It's a great game, I'm a fan of the on-rails design, and it's a visual stunner on iPhone. It might just be a bit costly for most impulse buyers.

Feb 25, 201175Going to an on-rails format may be blasphemy to some, but Doom Resurrection still makes for a solid shooter.
-
Feb 25, 201170Doom Resurrection whets the appetite with hard-hitting action and pretty graphics, though is starved of any lasting value.
-
Feb 25, 201160An enjoyable diversion for a couple of hours, but lacking in depth or replayability to warrant serious consideration.
-
Feb 25, 201150A strangely admirable bore: smart enough to take direct movement out of your hands, but not quite smart enough to find anything suitably enjoyable to replace it with. Never less than earnest, Doom Resurrection ignores the central lesson of much horror fiction: there are certain things you probably shouldn't do, even if you can.
