An excellent value for RPG fans or gamers who are feeling nostalgic. Not everyone will fall in love with the 8-bit artwork and audio, but the concept is a good enough reason to download this application .

Dragon Fantasy should not be dismissed as a Dragon Quest clone, but instead should be embraced as a game that takes all the greatness of the older games in that series and wraps them up in a nice, new format for a whole new generation to enjoy.

It may not match the quality of its inspirations, but Dragon Fantasy is still a fun, nostalgia filled RPG.

Dragon Fantasy's homage to old-school RPGs is both its greatest strength and weakness; it's at times a fun neo-classical romp, but then the worst classical elements rear their head and it's just a reminder that sometimes there's a reason why games evolve.
