An excellent value for RPG fans or gamers who are feeling nostalgic. Not everyone will fall in love with the 8-bit artwork and audio, but the concept is a good enough reason to download this application .

Dragon Fantasy should not be dismissed as a Dragon Quest clone, but instead should be embraced as a game that takes all the greatness of the older games in that series and wraps them up in a nice, new format for a whole new generation to enjoy.

If you enjoy retro games on iOS, Dragon Fantasy is definitely worth your time. It has great music, good gameplay, and its only real issue is control.

It may not match the quality of its inspirations, but Dragon Fantasy is still a fun, nostalgia filled RPG.

Despite these shortcomings, and the fact that retro RPGs have been done to death, Dragon Fantasy offers a lighthearted and enjoyable take on the genre that practically everyone can enjoy.

Dragon Fantasy's homage to old-school RPGs is both its greatest strength and weakness; it's at times a fun neo-classical romp, but then the worst classical elements rear their head and it's just a reminder that sometimes there's a reason why games evolve.
