Possibly one of the most gorgeous iOS platformers currently in the market. Players looking for a lush, detailed visual experience won't be disappointed. Progressing through the game will take some time and frustration, but unlocking new environments to enjoy almost makes it worth it.

A polished and enjoyable platform romp that translates well on the iOS platform. Its repetitive nature is the only thing that may hold it back for some, but both Kindle and the gremlins are endearing enough for most to stick with it.

Don't get us wrong. There's plenty to like about this single player beat-em-up, especially all the secrets that'll take some time to locate. We just expected a more engaging app than what Chillingo delivered.

Emberwind is a tough game to dislike, but equally it will probably have few admirers.

There's a very good game in here somewhere, but it's hard to find under the shoddy controls.
