A terrific and amazing-looking action game with perfect slide-based controls and exceptional action.
A polished shooting gallery of sorts, EPOCH.'s terrific graphics, upgradeable weaponry, and engaging gameplay make it a title worth checking out.
Epoch is a very impressive debut effort from indie developer Uppercut. Gamers turned off by more traditional iOS shooters might have just found the game they have been waiting for.
A wonderfully addictive and gorgeous shooter that serves as a powerful showpiece for iPhone and iPad graphics. We just want more, which at the end of the day is a true testament to this game's greatness.
Epoch tries to adapt a Third Person Shooter gameplay to a portable device. It almost succeeds, resulting funny and somehow spectacular; too bat for the low difficulty level.
EPOCH isn't a game changer in the way that Infinity Blade was (the comparison is perhaps a bit unfair, but they seem like spiritual brothers in a sense). It is, however, more than the sum of its parts, and much more entertaining than you might expect a shooting gallery game to be.
I wish EPOCH were as bright and exciting as its explosion effects and
backgrounds!
