Here's how to play:
The person holding the iPhone is called the Equivocatr. When the Equivocatr presses the 'Play’ button, a word and its definition appear.
The Equivocatr says the word and its spelling to the other players - the definition, however, is kept secret. The Equivocatr then writes the definition on a piece of paper.
All other players then write down a definition, either a guess or a convincing fake definition. The players then hand their definitions to the Equivocatr, who checks if any of their definitions are true.
The player(s) that submit a correct definition are awarded three points. If there is more than one correct definition, the round ends. The definitions, including the real definition, are then read out by the Equivocatr in random order. Players write down which answer they believe is correct.
1 Point: for each time another player chooses this player’s definition.
2 Points: to a player who guesses the correct definition.
3 Points: to the Equivocatr if no one guesses the correct definition.
The Equivocatr passes the iPhone to the player on their right. This player presses ‘New Word’ to start a new round.
The first player to reach 13 points wins!… Expand
