Dirty Bomb is off to a great start, offering a blend of fast-paced team-based action that I hadn’t realised I’ve been missing since the glory days of Enemy Territory.
Dirty Bomb is an addictive game. Even though I was often handed my ass on a platter by gamers with more skill, I was still enjoying myself for much of the time.
The best fps games free to play of steam.I wish the development was over and there was not as many players as the studio would have hoped. 800H during the games 800H of pure fun.
It is fun. A hell of a lot of fun, actually. But the inverse is, unfortunately, true when your team isn’t work together, or you’re being dominated by an opposing team that has its shit together.
It's a good start to the franchise, with opportunities to expand upon the world there, add some story context and hopefully flesh out the experience further.
Dirty Bomb is a nice shooter that is a perfect F2P alternative to a lot of the major FPS titles out today. The game is still in beta however, so there are a lot of features to be added and a lot of flaws to buff out. Hope that the devs can fix what needs to be fixed and polish this game to fulfill the potential it shows.
It's funny that it's so easy to see that the people who spent only 2 minutes in this game give a negative review with an 0, the people who have at least a few hours in it give the mixed ratings and the people who finally got gud give a positive review. LEARN FROM THIS SCR*B H8TERS. IF YOU SPENT AT LEAST A FEW MORE HOURS IN THIS GAME INSTEAD OF 3 SECONDS YOU MIGHT GET A BETTER GAME EXPERIENCE! great game! NOT pay2win, its Pay2GitCosmeticsWhichDontGiveYouExtraPowerAtAll, if you spend about 15 minutes by playing your first match great by fulfilling your role, you can already get ez cases with bronze till gold rarity. but ofc what all the nubs care about is dem cobaltss so gold aint enough for them. the cases only cost 5000 credits. if you play stopwatch mode and play medic and ACTUALLY REVIVE PEOPLE AND HEAL PEOPLE INSTEAD OF TRYING TO THROW YOR HEALTHSTATION UPON YOURSELF, you get a ton of exp. and theres also missions which refresh every couple of hours. this queues up to 3 missions. 3 missions together give a minimum amount of credits of 1500 and max of about 4500. ITS NOT THAT HARD TO EARN THE CASES JUST FRIGGIN UNDERSTAND IT. the only - point on this game is that half of the playerbase is **** and only played for 2 milliseconds (cough, the people who set an 0 for this game, cough). most of those kiddos are used to playing cod on their ugly xboxes and playstations so theyre too noob at aiming a mouse on someones head, so they just say the game **** coz they **** at it. noob **** means game **** in their eyes. go back tof cking tf2 and cod lil kiddos. at least those games are EZ lmao. GREAT GAME THIS IS I MEAN IT ITS THE EBST IVE PLAYED SO FAR IVE GOT 1000 HOURS ON THIS I LOVE IT KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK SD!! :DD
Want to love this game, I really do. The combat feels great, shooting is solid. Movement is tight, and the parkour system realistic. So why is no one playing it, why are queues so long?
The main issue with this game for me is the randomness of loadouts. There is too much RNG in what items you end up equipped with. You win a loot-card that has a main-hand, sidearm, and melee weapon. Each of those items can be completely different. Then you have up to 3 traits on each card as well. On top of that you have different tiers of cards, this recipe ends up leaving you with a lottery based reward system that I would consider a disaster.
The abysmally low currency gain you get from actually playing the game compounds the issue. No doubt it was an economic decision from someone over on the Production/Development team to leave players in a constant grind or starved for currency. The whole point of the game is to push you towards micro-transactions. Micro-transactions fuel your crafting and crafting lets you take a stab at the lottery system to end up with that 1/10000 perfect loadout.
You are forever chasing that dragon, it may as well be some kind of drug. Leaves me really disappointed, I think the characters have a lot of heart and the maps are fun, but these people have killed their own game with the money making model. Also, it takes way too long to actually get into a game. Work on the down-time.
Gameplay 8/10
Graphics 8/10
Optimization 8/10
Progression System 3/10
Well, I really love this game.
I don't think that, something like these new gen Players could understand.
Well, I still remember, I was playing BO3, with one of my Friends. (PC version), then I saw loads of players Just equipping Assault Rifles (1 Shot, any range), I was... something like 1/19, trying to play with Controllers (I use to play FPS, with Mouse&Keyboard, But Two players and one PC.)
Me:"This things don't happen in Dirt... I mean, A Good game!".
-Few minutes Later-
My Friend: "Yeah so, Do you want to play Dirt... I mean, a Good game?"
Me: "I guess I want something where skill is needed".
Anyway.
It's a really funny game, so you can play with your friends anytime, I mean It's Free To play.
The game it's skill based, Funny, You need Teamwork and communication.
The way its made It's really good.
Thanks Humble Bundle (?)
I think that Loads of FPS, need something from Dirty Bomb.
My experience with Dirty Bomb thus far shows me that while Splash Damage has certainly learned a thing or two from their experiences with the disasterious Brink, they still have a lot of work to do. Dirty Bomb reminds me most closely of their original smash success, Enemy Territory- and that is a very good thing, but still suffers from common problems endemic to modern team shooters, most egregiously the unforgiving damage model. While you are better able to hit enemies shooting from the hip then most other FPSs, the inconsistent network speeds common to a beta game combined with split-second-bang-your-dead damage means you will be staring at that reinforcement timer a whole hell of a lot. Dirty Bomb commits further sins by freely distributing wide-radius, near-instant kill explosive attacks to several of its playable characters, eliminating a large degree of skill from most engagements. Dirty Bomb is designed around fast-respawning waves of players and quick deaths, but boneheadidly welds this with objective-based maps and class-based loadouts, and further layers on daily grind quests and randomized progression hinged on "booster packs" obtainable for real money, leaving the whole experience feeling cheap, indecisive and ultimately unrewarding. I wanted to like Dirty Bomb, but it needs help, and quickly. Step one I think will be to drop the Nexon association before it turns into a game worthy of their name: a forgettable one.
you can t mute ppl the game is laggy the game is full of bug and it have a very bad community but the game would be fun if i could play it without bugs black screens
