Fiz's slow-burning but incredibly entertaining brewery management simulation really nails the nitty-gritty details, offering addictive beer-making entertainment for hardcore enthusiasts and casual imbibers alike.
Fiz lets players live out a career as a craft brewer in this clever and charming management game.
Fiz is worth a look for both beer lovers and players after a fun management game. After all, there’s a pixelated universe of thirsty people out there: it’s your duty to ensure they are well hydrated with the yeasty elixir of kings. [Issue 1, February 2014]
I can't speak to its faithfulness to the subject matter, but it feels like it's very respectful towards it, while still keeping things approachable and fun for the layperson. Fiz: The Brewery Management Game isn't perfect, but it's a very strong first effort for Bit By Bit Studios, and I hope they stick around in the sim scene.
Fiz takes an unusual setting for a sim or RPG, mixes in some wit and whimsy and blends it into something that will make you feel like you can actually take on the King of Beers with your own homebrew. And if that’s not living the dream for some of you out there, I don’t know what is.
Ambitious and full of promise, but essentially dull.
