If you're looking for a handheld and rage-inducingly hard platformer for your iOS device, take this soda bottle from hell for a whirl.

Despite a few concerns surrounding the finer points of the controls, you can probably guess that we were rather pleased with our time with Frenzy Pop. You'll need a little bit of patience to climb the brick wall the game throws up for you far too early in the game, but if you persevere with it you'll end up with a very rewarding game that proves that precision gaming need not be the preserve of traditional controls only.

While the game's content doesn't yet measure up to other more padded entries in the App Store, what it does offer will keep you entertained, and for a fair asking price.

A Super Meatboy-esque platformer based around sodapop. Interesting level design and concepts are marred by a lack of responsiveness in the controls.

A jaunty, if all-too-familiar experience that's lacking polish where it's needed most.
