TheThe frogathon had been conceptualized with an aim to improve logical and strategic thinking through games. The simple but interesting game involves crossing of frogs from one side of a pond to the other. The frogs are lined up, one behind the other; each perched on a floating leaf. The frogs are confronted by another group of single lined frogs that need to cross over to the opposite side. Thus the game situation opens with two lines of mutually opposing frogs that need to cross over to the other side, or switch their positions. There is an empty leaf between the two groups. The frogs can either jump to the nearest leaf or the second nearest leaf, if they are vacant. The frogs are moved individually by screen touch. They can be moved only when there is a vacant leaf and they can’t be moved backwards. The game is reset when there is no option for the frogs to move. The game has two levels with the first level involving three frogs and the second level involving four frogs. However there is also the option for a player to directly try the second level. The playing experience is enhanced by the rain effects and the croaking of the frog at every jump. The frogathon is truly a refreshing and a relaxing game, suitable for both children and adults. Expand
