Considering the Disney source material, it could do with an injection of magic, originality, and amazement. But, it did make me want to check out the movie, so in that sense, I might consider it a success.

Unlike its charming cinematic counterpart, Frozen Free Fall is a definite disappointment. Although it has the advantage of Disney audio visuals, it lacks the magic that should be inherent to anything with the Disney name on it. Really the only reason you should bother downloading it is if you're a kid under twelve, a Frozen fanatic, or a die-hard Disney defender.

It's a shame that the biggest Disney animated movie to come out in a long time gets this completely unoriginal game as it's tie in. This isIt's a shame that the biggest Disney animated movie to come out in a long time gets this completely unoriginal game as it's tie in. This is yet another match three or more style puzzle game. There is a high chance you've played this one before, only it was probably named Candy Crush Saga, which was already a rip-off of Bejeweled Blitz. It's abundantly clear that Disney put no effort into making this one at all, and just re-skinned another companies work.

So while Disney receives no points for originality, I can't bring myself to say that there's anything fundamentally wrong with the gameplay. There's a reason why this type of gameplay has been re-skinned and stolen to create countless clones; It's actually pretty enjoyable. Odds are if someone hasn't already experienced this style of gameplay before then they'll actually be pretty entertained. Frozen fanatics in particular might find a reason to stick around for a while, even if it is just because of the movie character at the top of the screen, but how long that is will just depend on if they have played one of the numerous versions of the game already. Because of this kids are probably the ones who are going to get the most out of this.

All in all it's not a bad game. It's just a painfully unoriginal one. Odds are you've played it before, so no matter how much you enjoyed the movie you would probably be better off skipping this one. Maybe it's worth a download if you've got some kids who really enjoyed the movie, as it is free and might keep them entertained for a while. Still, as it stands I expected a lot more from Disney. It's a shame that the game nowhere near matches the originality of the film it shares a name with.
