Swipe your finger across the screen to deliciously slash and splatter fruit like a true ninja warrior. Be careful of bombs – they are explosive to touch and will put a swift end to your juicy adventure!

Fruit Ninja also uses OpenFeint, so players can unlock achievements and shoot for the top of the global leaderboards while racking up OpenFeint points.

Your success will also please the wise ninja Sensei, who will accompany your journey with wise words and fun fruit facts.

Fruit Ninja is the messiest and most satisfying fruit game ever!

Fruit Ninja is fun, fun, fun. It's an instant pleasure and one you can find yourself hooked to, determined to post the highest fruit-murdering scores on OpenFeint or Facebook.

It's cheap, it's undemanding, and it's perfectly suited to the platform it's on.

Fruit Ninja is the perfect casual game that I thoroughly enjoyed. While there are minor problems I stated above, it's an overall solid appearance on the App Store and one that casual gamers shouldn't miss.

Perhaps the best part is that this game isn't even complete. A whole new game mode is expected to be released sometime in the near future, so you're in fact investing in the game, which already costs practically nothing.

Fruit Ninja is a really fun and immediate "sword simulator", with two game modes and lots of fruits to cut in mid-air. Due to a very repetitive gameplay, however, you could get bored soon.

As simple and fun as Fruit Ninja evidently is, it feels like a Wario Ware game isolated for a single release.

Fruit Ninja is a fun, simple addictive game that is a classic, like Angry Birds. There's no story, but a game where you hack and slash for new blades and achievements doesn't really need one. Story wise, there is a small one saying Ninjas hate fruit, now make Sensei proud by destroying it but look out for bombs. There's three modes, Classic, Arcade and Zen. In Classic you're out by either missing three fruits or slicing a bomb, but there's no timer. In Arcade, nothing happens If you lose fruit, but bombs take away 10 seconds from your time. Theres also bonus fruits in these two modes, like Freeze, Frenzy etc. In Zen mode, there's 90 seconds and nothing damages you, and no bombs. Blades can be unlocked and are unique and challenging to unlock, such as slice a certain amount of Freeze Bananas in Arcade to unlock the Freeze Blade. Backgrounds can be unlocked with the same concept. But it, its only $1.00/£0.69. Expand

Fruit Ninja is a very fun and addictive game and easily the best one available on the smartphones right now. The concept is easy: Fruit appears on the screen, you're a ninja and ninjas despise fruit. With the touchscreen you can slice through the hated fruit which causes the juice to smear the walls. This game is amazingly satisfying to say the least.

Graphic-wise it's alright, but the walls are very boring and no matter how many new wall you unlock, there will never be anything colorful until you smear it with (disappearing) juice over and over again. It just begs for a little more color. Talking about the unlockables: those are quite pointless as well. Nothing that affects gameplay it just changes the background and the color of your sword if you meet a certain quotta.

Fun and addictive, but nothing to deep.

"Fruit Ninja" is very fun and enjoyable....for a brief period of time; it gets too repetitive like "Angry Birds".
