Dive-bombing and sailing through the air as Murdoc in 'Gorillaz - Escape to Plastic Beach' is a fun, albeit brief experience for fans to check out.

Admittedly loyal to the band's latest release, Gorillaz: Escape to Plastic Beach is a scatterbrained affair that doesn't deliver in terms of gameplay.

If you're way into Gorillaz, this game lets you explore one of their virtual environments. But if you've upgraded to iOS 4, stay away.

Their whole existence as a band made up of digital characters seems like the perfect makeup for a great video game, but instead the developer went with a safe clone of another game. It almost feels like they didn't try.

A jarring change from the previous album, but a listen or two shows that Plastic Beach is it's own beast. With interesting tones and moodA jarring change from the previous album, but a listen or two shows that Plastic Beach is it's own beast. With interesting tones and mood changing tracks, this admittedly short but solid album isn't for everyone. But an open opinion and a respect for the albums individuality from other Gorrilaz works should give listeners an honestly unique and enjoyable experience. Expand
