  • Summary: The monsters have been eating way too much junk food, and now they’re hungry for something healthy — you! Take your team of valiant veggies into battle as you attempt to keep the monsters from invading your plot.

    POWERFUL PERISHABLES
Armed only with a touch-powered catapult, you are the
last line of leafy defense as a herd of herbaceous-hunting monsters storm the veggies’ homeland.

    VARIED VEGGIES
Load different types of gallant greenery into your catapult and pound your enemies with powerful produce before it’s too late and they plow through your garden’s barricades.

    FOUR EDIBLE ENVIRONMENTS
The fight between the organic heroes and mutated monsters spans four different worlds as you attempt to defend your armored allotment. The Green Plains, Plague Jungle, Chili Mountain and the Yellow Stone Ridge are all under assault.

    FOOD FIGHT FUN
Grow Away is a fun and addictive game for all the family, with outstanding comic book graphics, cute characters and thrilling touchscreen-controlled, catapult-pounding gameplay.

This is a fun game that is similar to a castle defense game, but has arcade shooter elements to it as well. It is entertaining and exciting, but not challenging at all.

The game mechanics tie together neatly so Grow Away! proves to be excellent fun. Levels gradually work their way up in terms of difficulty, ensuring that players never feel too out of depth or patronised. Grow Away! is near guaranteed to offer hours of vegetable flinging fun.

Grow Away isn't especially revolutionary, but it's surprisingly good, solid fun that will keep you busy for a while, coming back for just a bit more.

Like its veggie protagonists, Grow Away is simple, satisfying, and good fun to throw around for an hour or two.

Grow Away! suffers for its generally repetitive task of gunning down enemies, but the variety of enemies; boss fights; and 'companion' vegetables to explore and use make for a strangely addicting experience.

Grow Away suffers from not being that fun in the long run with a lot of repetition, and gameplay that isn't interesting enough.
